I, the Minister of
Information and Public orientation of the Somali Transitional Federal
Government, hereby, on behalf of the Somali TFG and the Somali community wish
to express and extend my deep words of gratitudes and complement to the
President of Kenya, H.E Mwai Kibaki, the Government and community of the
Republic of Kenya for the brotherly tireless efforts and supports you always
offer constantly to our new feeble government and harassed suffering people.
Indeed I am
greatly admired and very pleased of how the president, the Ministers and all
senior officials of the Republic of Kenya have in mind and remember all the
time the great mountainous and afflictions by which the Somali TFG and people
have been encountering for the last 16 years. On top of that, it makes us
deeply impressed and feel to be highly enthusiastic to see how the Kenyan
Authority have committed them selves on their own responsibility and good will
in encouraging, urging and inducing the international communities to offer
their political and economical supports to the Somalia government to enable it
overcome its huge problems hence stand on its own feet.
It is not really
enough or eligibly efficient to put and indicate in words, Said or written the
meaning, virtue and value of the brotherly intimate favour and dynamic role
taken by the Kenya Government and community in absolutely sacrificing and
concentrating on the critical matter of the Somali for the last one and a half
decade of the country�s severe aimless civil wars and absent of a Government
before establishment of the Somali TFG , which Kenya still up to now
spearheading in its role of commitment in the task.
This is, however,
not unexpected or a wonder to us, but is definitely on act of brotherhood in
which we were ever confident and put into account for recovering such
hospitably as our second mother nation.
Similarly, I
express and extend my deep wards of equally gratitudes and complements to the
government of Italy, Sweden, IGAD, African Union, European Union and the Arab
league who also stand to take a copious sustainable role in assisting Somalia
during these period of imperative needs we highly appreciate and request from
you all to continue and increase further for your generous supports to
Somalia.
In my Conclusion, I
wish, in this precious opportunity, to inform the international Communities
that the grave problem of Somalia need genuine political and economical
supports based on humanitarian aspects of liability sympathy and
self-committed attitude. It is, in any case necessary and significant for the
world to be serious, sincere and committed in giving absolute consideration
and concern to the deteriorating situation of Somalia where there are large
killings of blood-shed severe casualties of injuries, country wide ravages,
insecurity and poor social services Including health services, education,
Sanitation and adequate pure water as well as very poor living conditions that
are unacceptable in the normal human society living levels.
I, therefore, call
upon and appeal to the international Communities to take immediate action and
give the Somali TFG effective political and Economic supports so as to
strengthen and keep up the efforts being carried out by the government towards
implementing long lasting peace and security, reconciliation and
establishments of district and Regional administrations in the country.
